A Russia Iran collaboration includes, most recently, a discussion of an interim agreement for the countries to revive a nuclear deal. This was strategically planned - ahead of Iran negotiating with world powers to reenter the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Winning a deal could prove beneficial to Russia in building its goal of domination.
